The garden redesign process is divided into five stages, as follows:
Initial Design Consultation –
•  To obtain the brief of client requirements and assess the possibilities and limitations of the site. To discuss potential design solutions and style preferences.
Site Survey and Analysis –
•  A comprehensive survey taking into account levels, views, orientation, soil type, permanent features etc.
Outline Plan –
•  The proposed design solution showing the initial design layout for input by the client.
Master Plan –
•  The final hand drawn detailed plan showing the finished design of the garden. The landscape contractor uses this to price the work and build the garden along with construction details and specifications.
Planting Plans –
•  Hand drawn plans detailing exact species, cultivar, location, and number of plants used to plant the garden.
